Operated equipment performance upgrade
Increasing of the drilling rig load capacity:
— replacement of the derrick and drawworks unit;
— reinforcing of the derrick and substructure metal structures (for 3D-86), replacement of the drawworks, crown block, hook block, swivel;
Transition to manual pipe stand racking (for drilling rigs equipped with an automated round-trip operations mechanism);
Transition to automated pipe stand racking (for drilling rigs not equipped with an automated round-trip operations mechanism);
Rework of drilling derricks for operation with a top drive system
Replacement of UNB-600 and UNBT-950 mud pumps for more powerful UNBT-1180L pumps;
Transition from the diesel drive to a variable electric drive of the main mechanisms;
Replacement of drawworks with chain transmission for drawworks with gear transmission.

Operated equipment design characteristics improvement
Use of the land drilling rig skidding mechanism;
Replacement of the metal structures of the derrick and drawworks unit with a tower type derrick for the metal structures with А-type derrick;
Transition of the mud system to a modular version;
Transition of 3D type drilling rigs from seven- and nine-diesel drive to a four-diesel drive from more powerful power units (C-27, Caterpillar);
Transition of the pump unit to a modular version;
Exclusion of the chain transmission from DGU type drilling rigs due to transition from the group diesel drive to an individual diesel drive of the pumps and a group diesel drive of the drawworks and the rotor.

Service life extension

Replacement of the equipment metal structures accountable to Gosgortekhnadzor with the new ones without changing technical characteristics (derrick, substructure, drawworks, crown block, hook block, swivel).
